The Association of Friends of Lake Geneva Steamships (ABVL) aims to raise funds for the preservation and maintenance of the eight Belle Epoque steamships of the CGN in service: the " Helvétie ", L'" Italie ", the "Montreux", the "Rhône", the " Savoie ", the "Simplon", " La Suisse » and the “Vevey” (Statutes Art. 1). Since 2007, donors to ABVL have had the opportunity to become full members of the association and thus actively participate in its decisions.
